I’m a part of the Colombian consortium for the study of dementia with Lewy bodies (COL-DLB), and I’ve also worked in the assessment of frailty markers in geriatric patients. Moreover, I do some work related to the epidemiology of Alzheimer’s disease in Colombia and the overall study of underrepresented populations.

One day I memorized 11 decimals from the Pi number and hope someday it will be useful for something.
Why did you choose to work in dementia:
It’s a combination between personal motivation and scientific curiosity regarding cognitive decline and all that it implies.
What single piece of of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
Find an excellent mentor, in terms of science, but also as a person.
What book are you reading right now? Would you recommend it?
Have not been able to read much these days, but I would recommend people to check Mario Vargas Llosa, a peruvian author that has written some excelent novels.
