Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a first year PhD student in the Ye Lab at Imperial. I’m from Finland but have been in London for my BSc, MRes, and now PhD!
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I am a big fan of those thriller books that you can find in the supermarket (the cheesier the tag line on the front, the better).
Why did you choose to work in dementia?
Like many other dementia researchers, I have seen the devastating impact of neurodegenerative disease on beloved family members as well as those caring for them. I would be delighted to contribute to understanding of the pathological mechanisms of these diseases so that we can find more effective therapeutic interventions.
