I hold a 2:1 Master’s in Neurosciences from King’s College, London, and a BSc with triple majors in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Zoology. I currently work as a Specialist Technician with the Cerebrovascular Dementia Research Group at Bristol Medical School, where my research focuses on developing blood-based biomarkers to indicate neurovascular injury prevalent in Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. I also serve as the Mental Health Representative on the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Board at Bristol Medical School, advocating for mental health awareness and inclusivity to foster a supportive and accessible research environment for both students and staff. My passion for dementia research is deeply rooted in my personal experience of witnessing my grandmother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
