Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a 2nd year faculty member at University of Chicago, where I did my residency and fellowship training. I see patients with dementia and guide them and their caregivers through different types of dementias with nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic therapies. I also enjoy educating residents and trainees and am trying to establish myself in the clinical research space.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I play classical trumpet.
Why did you choose to work in dementia research?
Fascination with music and the brain, particularly with regard to my grandmother who had dementia as I went through music school.
What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
I am one!
