I am a rising 5th year PhD Candidate studying Integrated Biomedical Sciences with a focus on the Biology of Aging. I am very passionate about participating in research that is culturally sensitive and impactful to diverse communities.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I am an avid sea glass collector and I have searched for treasures all over the world!
Why did you choose to work in dementia research?
I am passionate to work in the dementia research field due to a family history of Alzheimer’s Disease and to work toward a world without dementia!
What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
I would advise all early career researchers to lean into the serendipity of science. Sometimes the most unexpected results can lead to the best opportunities!
What book are you reading right now? Would you recommend it?
