Tell us a little about yourself:
I graduated with my undergraduate degree as a pharmacist in 2018 and started working as a clinical pharmacist at a combined military hospital in Pakistan. However, I have always wanted ti be a researcher, so I moved to the UK in 2022 and completed my MSc in pharmacology and drug discovery in 2024 from Coventry University. During my master’s, I worked as a research assistant for University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in the Neuro-inflammatory department, when I acquired advanced statistical analysis skills.
During my placement year, I worked at the computational biology department at Coventry University. Together, these experiences inspired me to pursue a career in computational neuroscience. Now, I am working to develop neural network models for the diagnosis of Neuro degenerative diseases with CNNs and transfer learning.
