Livestream Recording: Innovating with Alzheimer’s Society

This week Dementia Researcher is collaborating with Alzheimer’s Society to shine a spotlight on Innovation.

In this livestream recording Ella Moonan-Howard & Simon Lord from Alzheimer’s Society talk about their Innovator support programmes, they’re joined by three startup leaders who are forging their way with new businesses to help people living with dementia.

In this discussion we will learn more about their 2024/25 Accelerator Programme, which can provide up to £100k of funding and a wide package of support for new services and products + their new Launchpad a part-time, free, four-month bespoke support package that helps passionate people to de-risk, validate and pitch dementia innovation product ideas. If you’re a University or NHS Researcher this webinar will provide information and inspiration that could help you transform your research into a new service or product with Alzheimer’s Society support.

We also hear from Dr Zeke Steer talking about Milbotix, Julia Glenn discussing EarGym, and Szczepan Orlins sharing for Animorph – our guests talk about their innovations and their journeys in translating research ideas into practical products and services that have real-world impact in helping people living with dementia.
