ISTAART is accepting self-nominations from its members for this year’s Executive Committee positions for its Professional Interest Areas (PIAs).
Candidates applying for these positions are expected to show a strong dedication to advancing the goal-oriented activities of the PIA and must attend at least four committee meetings. Engaging actively in these roles is essential for the successful implementation of the PIA’s initiatives.
PIAs hosting elections include:
- Atypical Alzheimer’s Disease
- Biofluid Based Biomarkers
- Health Policy
- Neuroimaging
- Neurophysiology
- Nonpharmacological Interventions
- Nutrition, Metabolism and Dementia
- Reserve, Resilience and Protective Factors
- Sex and Gender Differences in Alzheimer’s Disease
- Technology and Dementia
- Vascular Cognitive Disorders
ISTAART welcomes self-nominations from all career stages for open positions. To view the available PIA positions and their descriptions, download the document to browse through each position. Positions for all 30 PIAs are included.
Positions are for two-year terms with the exception of one-year terms for the Neuroimaging PIA.
While ISTAART members can serve on more than one Executive Committee, individuals may only serve as one of the top four positions (Chair, Vice Chair, Programs Chair and Communications Chair) for a single PIA concurrently.
ISTAART PIA members are encouraged to self-nominate for positions. If interested, please complete this submission form for each position through March 10. PIA elections are slated to start in late March.
If you have questions, please contact Jodi Titiner (jrtitiner@alz.org).
ISTAART looks forward to your consideration and interest in joining the PIA leadership teams.
