The Australian Dementia Research Forum
03/06/2025 - 05/06/2025
The Australian Dementia Research Forum is the premier annual event that brings together dementia researchers, health professionals, policy makers, and people living with dementia and their families and carers to discuss the latest research, innovations, and best practices in dementia. We are pleased to announce that next year’s Forum (ADRF2025) will be held in person in Perth, Western Australia from 3rd to 5th June.
The theme for the ADRF2025 is The Future of Dementia Prevention, Research and Care with particular focus on exciting new innovations in the field. The Forum is a meeting place for national and global experts to share the latest developments in dementia research, care and policy and to challenge perceptions of living with or caring for someone with a dementia diagnosis.
Six expert international and national speakers have been invited to deliver keynote addresses at ADRF2025, on topics covering Discovery/Basic Science, Prevention and Diagnosis and Post-Diagnostic Care.
For a third consecutive year, our Continuing Education professional development sessions for medical, health and care practitioners will be on offer. This year, it will be held on Day 3 of the Forum. Topics will include Post Diagnostic Interventions, Dementia in CALD Communities, Voluntary Assisted Dying, Sleep Complaints, Comorbidity and Allied Health & Nursing.
We are thrilled to announce that, for the first time ever, our dementia forum will feature a Public Lecture. Held on Day 3, this new addition opens the door for everyone to gain accessible insights into the latest dementia research, care strategies, and support resources.
Register now to be updated on the ADRF2025 as it progresses. We can’t wait to share with you our exciting line-up of knowledgeable speakers and extensive Forum program, which will include presentations covering areas of discovery/basic science, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and post-diagnostic care.
We look forward to welcoming you as we work toward a future with greater understanding, better treatments, and enhanced quality of life for all impacted by dementia.
