Technologies for Brain Health and Dementia Prevention Event
25/11/2022 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Special Interest Group Technologies for Brain Health and Dementia Prevention
Following on from the success of the workshop which took place in June 2022, the SDRC and DHI have created the Technologies for Brain Health and Dementia Prevention Special Interest Group(SIG).
The purpose of this SIG is to share knowledge and experience of its members, to discuss how technology can improve brain health and support people living with dementia and their carers. SIG members can come together to form new partnerships around this topic, network, identify and create joint funding bids. We also aim to publish papers utilising the groups varied expertise.
The SIG will allow communication and ideas exchange among people from different disciplines, perspectives and career stages. For more information about the Aims and Themes of this SIG, please visit the SDRC website.
Our first meeting, on 25th November 2022 at Alzheimer Scotland’s office in Edinburgh, will set out the group’s next steps and priorities for the coming year. We will also discuss some funding calls that have recently launched.
This meeting will be a wonderful opportunity for researchers of all career stages, and everyone else with an interest on technology and innovation to work together and contribute to developing this important area of research.
An agenda will be announced shortly.
