Shape Solutions to Reduce Dementia Care Barriers

EquaDem Network Plus is a newly launched, 5-year UK-wide initiative focused on addressing the inequalities in dementia diagnosis and care. The network invites individuals living with dementia, unpaid carers, health and social care professionals, and charity workers to co-produce solutions that make dementia care more accessible and inclusive.
Event Details:
- Date: Wednesday, 2nd October
- Time: 13:00 – 15:00 (registration and refreshments from 12:30)
- Location: University of Liverpool (exact room details to be confirmed in September)
- Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.
- Reimbursement: Participants will receive a £15 shopping voucher as a token of appreciation.
This event will provide a platform for attendees to discuss and collaboratively develop approaches to overcoming barriers in dementia diagnosis and care. The goal is to create an ideal future where individuals with dementia and their carers can easily access the support they need.
