Launch – North West Coast Living Lab in Ageing & Dementia
March 6 @ 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
In 2024, we will be launching the North West Coast Living Lab in Ageing and Dementia, based on the successful 25-year old Living Lab in Ageing and Long-Term Care from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Our new Living Lab, based within the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast, will create further collaboration between academics in dementia research and social care and support service providers (such as day care centres, home care agencies, and care homes). The model involves a Linkin Pin, whereby a researcher is linked up with a specific organisation to forster learning and collaboration whilst working on site a care organisation as a researcher.
We are excited to be joined by the developer and by lead representatives of the model from Maastricht University, Prof Jan Hamers and Prof Hilde Verbeek.
On the day, please join us to hear about the Maastricht Living Lab, how the North West Coast Living Lab will function and how you as an organisation may get involved. Tickets are free and please feel free to share widely:
