INTERDEM & ISTAART ECR World Cafe

This online Café will be open to all early career researchers and hosted by INTERDEM Academy in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association ISTAART PEERs group.

Although ECRs significantly contribute to dementia research, there are concerns about how to best support them throughout their career and what are most prominent challenges. In a recent online survey (summer 2022), we have been questioning ECRs in dementia across Europe, to investigate the most prominent challenges and type of support needed. Building on the insights to be gathered at the Alzheimer Europe seminar, and providing attention to some more challenges identified in the survey, we will apply the World Café methodology. Participants in this online café will explore solutions for these challenges by interacting in small groups, sharing experiences and ideas.
