How do we design digitally enabled services that are inclusive and trusted?

September 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Kings Fund Logo

Join us for a 90 minute long workshop, focused on co-production of digitally enabled health services, focusing on answering our question: “What skills, knowledge, and capacity does the NHS need to design inclusive and trusted digitally enabled services with people”.

Through this workshop we aim to work through case studies and discussions to understand what’s needed to work with people and communities so digital technologies and services are inclusive, user-friendly, and trusted.

This workshop is one part of our project that explores the capabilities and processes needed by the NHS and health services to enhance inclusivity and trust in patient-facing digital health services. We will identify good practices, showcase practitioner journeys, and address barriers to embedding human factors in the system. The findings and recommendations will be published in an online report.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Introduction to co-production for digital services
  • Case study examples and group discussions about successes, challenges, and inclusivity in co-production in practice
  • Key questions on skills, resources, and balancing project constraints
  • What the indicators of success are and how to overcome barriers in embedding co-production in organizational practices
