You might have recently started thinking about getting a mentor and want some more information about where to start, or you might want to learn more about mentoring in general.
The NIHR Mentoring Programme has recently expanded. The programme now supports NIHR Academy Members in their final year PhD and postdoctoral researchers to find a mentor from the NIHR research community.
The NIHR Mentoring Programme is open to a broad range of professional and disciplinary contexts across our diverse health and social care communities to mentor others and to seek a mentor.
The NIHR Mentoring Programme has been highly rated by past participants:
– 94% of mentors and 84% of mentees were either very satisfied or satisfied with their mentoring match.
– 100% mentors and 92% mentees felt the NIHR Mentoring Programme met all or most of their expectations
The next cohort of the NIHR Mentoring Programme opens on 10 September 2024.
