My research focuses on health of older people in primary care, dementia care, assistive and next generation technologies, systematic reviewing and pragmatic trials of complex interventions. Co-lead for Equadem network plus.

Academic GP with long standing experience in translational dementia care research, from pre-diagnosis to end of life care.

Why did you choose to work in dementia research?

Longstanding frustration at the poor experiences families living with dementia receive.

What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?

All experience is relevant in some way and at some point in your career.
