Tell us a little about yourself:
A scientist and entrepreneur, I co-founded Allyx Therapeutics and serve as its Chief Operating Officer. I lead efforts across both Business Development and Research & Development, securing multiple grants and serving as the principal investigator of ongoing clinical research. Before Allyx, I was an inaugural Yale Blavatnik Fellow catalyzing the launch of multiple start-ups out of the university from within the technology transfer office, now Yale Ventures. I am a chemist by training, specializing in peptide chemistry before moving to biotech.

Why did you choose to work in dementia research?
Dementia is one of the biggest unmet needs of our time. In a time where companies were not getting launched or started in the Alzheimer’s space, I was passionate about taking on the challenge and trying to make an impact for patients.
What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
Make sure you take time to zoom out your perspective and see the broader picture.
