4th Latinos & Alzheimer’s Symposium
April 4 - April 5
Now in its fourth year, the Alzheimer’s Association Latinos & Alzheimer’s Symposium will bring together researchers, clinicians and dementia care professionals who work with Hispanic and Latino/a/e/x populations.
The Latinos & Alzheimer’s Symposium presents an opportunity for early career researchers especially to learn about the latest research, network and become a part of the community of clinicians, care professionals and scientists working to advance dementia science and care in Hispanic and Latino/a/e/x populations.
Addressing the Disparities in Dementia Risk, Early Detection and Care
The Latinos & Alzheimer’s Symposium will cover topics such as culture, bilingualism and cognition; novel approaches to improve caregiving and caregiving support; ongoing clinical trials for Latino/a/e/x individuals; recruitment of Latino/a/e/x participants to research and clinical trials; biomarkers in Latino/a/e/x populations; and access to new therapies.
