Southeastern Neurodegenerative Disease Conference (SENDCon)
10/10/2023 - 12/10/2023
SENDCon aims to build a network of collaboration among early career dementia researchers, scientists and students who work on Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, frontotemporal dementias, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurodegenerative disorders.
This hybrid conference, held virtually and in-person, will provide substantial opportunities for early career dementia researchers to give both oral and poster presentations alongside their senior colleagues, with the goal of cross-recruitment across participating institutions.
SENDCon focuses on the work of scientists in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico — though neuroscience researchers from outside the region are also invited to register and attend.
Spotlight your findings.
Submit your abstract by August 1 to be selected to give an oral or poster presentation of your research findings alongside senior scientists.
Abstracts are due August 1, 2023, 11:59 p.m. ET.
As a member benefit, researchers in the Alzheimer’s Association International Society to Advance Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment (ISTAART) have until August 4 to submit.
